Laufpause als Belastungsprobe

Dem einen oder anderen regelmäßigen Besucher meines Blogs ist es vielleicht schon aufgefallen: In den letzten Tagen war es recht ruhig, keine neuen Beiträge oder Berichte über gelaufene Kilometer von mir. Der Grund dafür ist, dass mir mein Arzt leider eine Zwangspause verordnet hat.

Es ist mir richtig schwer gefallen, gerade jetzt eine Laufpause einzulegen. Auch weil ich bei den ersten Wettkämpfen in diesem Jahr ziemlich erfolgreich war (Radio Gong Turmrun, Volksfestlauf Hallbergmoos) – wobei es wohl nie einen guten Zeitpunkt für eine verletzungsbedingte Pause gibt. Leider ist mein Körper nicht so stark wie mein Wille und somit gibt es Grenzen, die ich akzeptieren muss.

Wenn man jung ist und sich superfit fühlt, will man von Grenzen nichts wissen. So ist das zumindest bei mir. Mit Osteoporose auf einem ambitionierten Niveau zu laufen ist nicht immer leicht, darum gönne ich meinen Knochen nun eine regenerative Pause.

Glücklicherweise habe ich mich in diesem Jahr rechtzeitig in Behandlung gegeben, so dass ich nicht komplett aus dem Training aussteigen muss. Es ist also nicht so, dass ich sportlich gesehen nichts machen darf. Ich soll nur meine arg beanspruchten Schienbeinknochen etwas schonen.

Auch wenn ich Alternativsport machen darf, hat es hat trotzdem viel Kraft gekostet und viele Gespräche erfordert bis ich eingesehen habe, dass ich beim Laufen nun vorerst einen Gang zurück schalten muss. Komplett entspannt sehe ich das ganze immer noch nicht. Aber ich glaube das ist eben so, wenn man für eine Sache brennt. Wenn man etwas gefunden hat, das einen antreibt.

Aber ich habe nun endlich verstanden, wie ich den Schalter zum positiven Denken umlegen muss. Was mir unter anderem dabei geholfen hat, ist ein sehr guter Artikel mit dem Titel: “Wie man mit einer Verletzung umgeht, ohne den Verstand zu verlieren”. Darin ist ein 5-Phasen-Modell beschrieben, in dem ich mich ziemlich genau wiedererkannt habe und genau diese Erkenntnis hat mir den Weg zur letzten Phase etwas einfacher gemacht. Die verbleibende Zeit meiner Laufpause werde ich mit einem Alternativprogramm aus Fahrrad fahren, Aquajogging und Krafttraining schon rum kriegen. 😉 Es ist immer noch genügend Zeit für die Vorbereitung auf mein Highlight des Jahres: Den Transalpine Run! Drückt mir die Daumen!
